At this time of year lots of you ask what the big colour trends will be coming into the new season. We always display the colour pantones throughout the shop to help show our customers what’s popular each season.
Where do the colour trends come from? They are published for the fashion industry by the Pantone Color Institute. Each season they release the top 12 colours, as well as four classic neutrals, that we can expect to see on the runways and in our collections this Spring/ Summer.
The top colours for Spring/Summer 2020 blend a palette of iconic favourites, with seasonal neutrals. We are also seeing lots of colour through patterning and multi-coloured layering.
For all you pink lovers there is the perfect soft blossom, a beautifully soft feminine pink. Or if you prefer something a little brighter you will love beetroot purple, a deeper pink with more of a fuchsia tone to it.
Heritage blue looks great on so many complexions. It looks perfect paired with your favourite denim, or go for a spring dress with ankle boots or trainers for a gorgeous everyday look.
We are seeing lots of collections in the shop this season that have a flame orange colourway, an orangey-yellow that adds a bold touch to any outfit. The runways showcased the flavorful shade in head-to-toe looks.
Another beautiful bright colour this season is fiery red. Make a statement and wear it in a block of colour, or add a little hint of it in a scarf or jacket to finish off your outfit.
This seasons collections are full of strong and vibrant colours, but it they aren't for you, you will love this seasons neutral classics. Try head-to-toe neutrals —varying in textures and shades from subtle oyster mushroom to brilliant blanc de blanc . You'll never go wrong with a neutral look this season!
